I am trying to add my Seti@home project for the first time on Fedora Core 11. I am trying to add a project with the "add project" button but nothing happens. I am getting an error - retrieving current status at the top of the window. The boinc-client is running and terminal output gives this: [root@asus-m4n82 Pictures]# service boinc-client restart BOINC client requires initialization (no projects attached)[WARNING] Stopping boinc-client: [ OK ] Starting boinc-client: [ OK ] [root@asus-m4n82 Pictures]# service boinc-client status BOINC client requires initialization (no projects attached)[WARNING] boinc_client (pid 5013) is running... [root@asus-m4n82 Pictures]# what should I do to get this working? |

Make sure the boinc-client is running or the manager will not function. At a terminal prompt: service boinc-client status If it doesn't say something like: boinc_client (pid 15569) is running... Then enter: service boinc-client start |
