please read the tech news. we may be out of work for a week or more. you might consider attaching to other projects in the mean time if you dont want your CPU idle. Be careful what you join though. Some projects like CPEN Einstein and even A few of the Primegrid project WU's can be very long

every time i ask for new work from s e t i it starts to download then gets stuck and never finishes the download been like that for 3 days now HELP

Did you reboot? If yes, wait some hours and reboot again. There might be a wrong IP address cached somewhere along the way from you to Berkeley.

See the sticky thread No Work/Little Work in the Number crunching forum. Search for the word 'stack' (without quotes) to find the part concerning your problem.

I found that if you exit the program and restart, you can successfully download the workunits.
