please read the tech news. we may be out of work for a week or more. you might consider attaching to other projects in the mean time if you dont want your CPU idle. Be careful what you join though. every time i ask for new work from s e t i it starts to download then gets stuck and never finishes the download been like that for 3 days now HELP |

Did you reboot? If yes, wait some hours and reboot again. There might be a wrong IP address cached somewhere along the way from you to Berkeley. See the sticky thread No Work/Little Work in the Number crunching forum. Search for the word 'stack' (without quotes) to find the part concerning your problem.
