Hi, anyone knows what I have to do? I had a Seti@ home account many years ago and I would like to update my email. The problem is that I can´t log in as my old email doesn´t exist anymore. Thanks! |

doesnt matter if your old email exists anymore. as long as you remember your password. OTherwise you can still login with your account ID In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

OTherwise you can still login with your account ID You must mean Account Key. Yet if the person doesn't have his account key, can't remember his password and his old email is no longer active, he can't even ask for his account key. The darn thing about that one is that it is registered to that one unique thing: the email address. You can only get the temporary, good for 24 hours log-in link to the account by filling in a correct email address, which must be registered in the database, before going to that email address and pick up the link. Without it, there's no possible way to get the account back. Of course, if we're talking about a Seti Classic account, it can be linked to the BOINC account. For instructions on that, check this page. |

Years ago is quite possibly a Classic account. If it is, then the link: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_classic.php might help. BOINC WIKI |
