Hi All,

If anyone can help me with the error I am getting all the time I would really appreciate it.

I have been having this trouble since I replaced seti classic.

You can see I have just got the latest version of boinc and reset seti@home but I still get the same error.

I just the the same error when starting boinc4.13 for the first time.
It occured with the first computation started after the download. In my case, the downlaod was ~20 WUs and 2 computations were started because I Use a bipro.
The first one gave the error after 3 mn ,was restarted :

2004-10-16 22:17:17 [SETI@home] Result 03mr04ab.2969.8657.123590.95_0 exited with zero status but no 'finished' file

The one on the other processor is OK (means running since 30 mn), and the first one -restarted- is also OK, since 27 mn.

Do you still have the problem ?

seti-boinc id far from being stable. I also have a very systematic error with macnn optimized client: most of my WU get 0 credits, probably because they have a "two many results" as exiting status. In short: computations are wrong.

I have this problem ever since I started using SETI BOINC with all versions I used, not only 4.13. Seems to be always the same processor that reports this error and it always happens right after a finished workunit was uploaded. Could this be a multi-processor problem?

Hi

This problem started for me with the 4.13 version. Never had it before. Deleted the /projects/setiathome.berkeley.edu directory and restarted. Problem free for 4 days now.

And it happened again (G5, Dual 2.5 GHz). Same problem in 4.09, 4.11 and 4.12. When I switched to 4.13 I did reset the project twice and even deleted the whole SETI BOINC folder to start from scratch:

Also having same problem with v4.18 under BOINC 4.43 OSX 10.4.2. Resetting the project did not help.
