I installed the latest version on my laptop and desktop, both running Vista,(Basic on laptop, home prem. on desktop). It works fine on laptop, but won't start on desktop. The only other thing I've done in the same time frame was to update windows live messenger on both. I tried deleting that and no difference. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just tried re-installing, now, I'm getting a dialog box that says "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is not available." It's looking for a file, "boinc.msi" in c:\windows\downloadedInstallations\{2AB8F...}. When I go to that dir., it's empty. A search of the HD turns up no file named boinc.msi.
