Is the SETI Beta something different than the Astropulse/Astropulse V5 options available to be turned on/off in SETI prefs under acct. mgmt?

SETI Beta is a completely separate project from SETI@Home. None of the options in your account page will affect SETI Beta and vice versa.

The general settings (CPU, network, memory... usage) are shared between projects - last update wins. Project specific settings are just that, and not shared.
