Thank you one and all! I appreciate your support for a desert rat. The rules are the same: I have copied the rules from #96 and they are listed below: The Last Person To Post Thread, general rules: 1. Winner of the last thread starts the new one. 2. Chooses a number to be the post declared the next winner and records it somehow. (yellow sticky, etc.) 3. Everyone has fun posting while the target number of posts is reached. 4. When the target is reached, rinse and repeat. Supplemental rules: 1. Double posting (the same poster posting two or more posts in succession) is frowned upon. 2. Posting of larger pics is discouraged (Modem users do still exists[Gasp], and these threads can get quite long, Max of 1024x768 please.) 3. The rest of the post rules listed to the left of your post box are all enforced. I have duly noted the relatively low number that is written in the sand indelibly (sort of) outsde. I have notified the cat, Francis, of the number as my witness. As long as she stays out of he sand, we should be safe! Good luck one and all. The continuing topic, I believe is Halloween, or tsunami's or some such things as need to be discussed. Carry on and Good Luck! Greg in Phoenix |

From Angela in TLPTPW #97: "Angela" wrote: Taking a break from putting up more Halloween things. I have crates and crates of things. I've been collecting for decades. I don't put up creepy stuff - my style is more "Halloween Elegance". I'll try to take some pics this month. That's too bad! I was going to say you're a woman after my own heart since Halloween is probably my favorite holiday too, but I prefer the really gory, creepy stuff. If I had the time and talent, I always wanted to put up a creepy wrought iron fence with severed heads (complete with real looking blood and nerve endings sticking out of the neck) impaled on the sharp edges of the fence. I also wanted to get some really good spider web material and drape it from the roof of my house to the yard below and fill it with bunches of spiders and severed hands and feet. I'd also like to dress up as a vampire and hide in an upright casket along my walkway right before my front door (with creepy fog machines covering the ground) so that as little Trick or Treaters proceed to get their goodies, I would slowly open the casket door and walk up behind them. Their screams would be delicious music to my twisted ears! [insert evil laugh here] |
