Independence Day would be a pretty hard sell though...

Perhaps they don't want to be independent?

I think "we" do, but the Government has other plans for us - Europe! :(

Yeah, I heard, There was an advisory which said to expect at least 1' and the lifeguards were making sure the beaches were empty last night, The one that Hit Samoa was about 6 meters high or 20', At least It was only an 8.3 quake, The wave went a mile inland and caused a good bit of destruction from the photos I've seen on TV, So far CNN says at least 111 people are dead there. And there was a 2nd quake this morning in the area. Oh and Hawaii had some 3.5' tall waves come in I heard last night before I went to bed.

Good morning SJ and Richard. Looks like it was quite here last night. The Halloween prep must be keeping Angela asleep.

Oh and SJ, yes I was kidding about going to the beach to watch the tsunami. But I still recall as a kid watching the news of people flocking to the beach to see a tsunami that was on it's way. It ended up fizziling out, but what were people thinking?

I'm glad I guessed right, Tsunamis are nothing to fool with as evidenced by recent waves of destruction, 20' tall, Their too tall for Me. :D
