I don't think the file actually get uploaded. Boinc does restart at the point where the upload fails. This can be observed on projects that have larger upload files. Seti has a small file to upload so the 100% we see is probably the file being put in the Boinc upload buffer but not actually being transferred successfully.

Programmers, please contact the work to install a download manager that there does continue where it previously left off.

BOINC is a system.

The BOINC client wants to upload work as quickly as possible, but making the client try harder increases the load on the BOINC servers.

BOINC is also designed to tolerate outages.

If you have a low tolerance for running out of work, set your connection interval to something smaller than 0.5, and "extra days" to something like 5.

Babelfish translation:

Looking at the reverse translation is always fun. Sentence structure and meaning can really gets messed up. I usually use both Google and Bablefish to see how something translates back.

I'm sure it is. What I don't understand: if he's good in another language (like German) then I know we have native speakers of German who could help.

I have no idea what a "Ruprik" could be.

Google Translate

I have seting 10 days Cache, the problem is that Boinc I think need 20 hours for a package, but they are in 3 - 12 minutes done. So if I get 2500 Wu, there is then no more,
then i am ready in 2-3 days. And here lies the problem, Boinc give no longer supplied WU. until I have only about 5 hours in Cahe. Then Seth BAMBI AND THE SERVER AGAIN.
This has been going for 5 weeks so ;-(

That should be "Rubrik" (rubric, category) as I tried to "suggest" in one of my quotes. I needed three posts to approximately get his intentions, and I don't want to delve into this topic on this forum. All answers already have been given at Number crunching.

OK OK,

GERMAN:
Also das geht nun schon seit 5 Wochen so.

Ich hoffe es versteht jemand ;-)

Danke für Eure Mühen
Greetings from Austria

To: all who are having problems uploading:

These problems are NORMAL for the servers after a work outage as long as the one we have had. They will taper off as the load on the upload/download servers tapers down from ~95%... just let BOINC retry uploads normally, and uploads will eventually get through!

If you are reading this on dial-up:

1) I hope you are connected to more than 1 BOINC project.

2) Attempt to upload and get downloads for about an hour (or more); then if nothing eventuates, get some work units from your other project(s)!
.

Hello, from Albany, CA!...

He may or may not be in the wrong forum for his GENÖRGEL.

I didn't know what GENÖRGEL was before I Googled it.

It was just the coolest sounding word I'd heard all day.

People please cool down..

Gundolf, you don't think it would be better if you said RELCLAG that we discuss server problem topics in the 'panic threads' in the NC forum?

'Panic Mode On (xx) Server problems' in the NC forum:

Best wishes

-----------------------------------------------------

Leute, bitte beruhigt Euch..

But - you know how well is his english?

But.. you know the phrase.. 'If two are 'quarrel' the third is lucky.' [Don't know how to translate well.. ;-)]

So I'm out from here.. ;-)

---------------------------------------
