I have been processing with both my cpu and gpu. I want to continue using the cpu but stop the gpu usage. I am using the unified installer. I set to nnt and allowed the cuda's to complete. I have about 12 mb's and 6 ap left. I shut down boinc and reran the installer, deselecting the cuda option. On restart and allow new tasks, it promptly asks for more cuda tasks. Can I stop this without loosing or should I run out all tasks and reset the project? Just looking for the best way.

Did the client only ask for new CUDA tasks or did the server in fact send any?

Resetting the project won't make a difference if you're using an anonymous platform file (app_info.xml) as that file and the executables detailed in it will stay in place on a project reset. A detach/reattach gets rid of everything.

Ok, it asked for but didn't receive any. However I immediately set to NNT to stop it. Since I reinstalled the unified installer, the cuda entries are gone. Looks like I will just allow the work to run out and detach/reattach.

It will continue to ask for work, even after a reattach, since it detects a CUDA device, but the server won't send any, because there's no application to run it on your host.
