I was looking at my messages and noticed the following:

My meessages area is littered with the WU restarting. I've noticed this a few times with other WU's and aborted. Should I abort the WU? Is there a glitch I should be reporting somewhere? How do I figure that out?

If it makes a difference, I'm on 32 bit Vista SP2, Duo Core E8400 @3.0 Ghz 2 gigs of ram and a Nvidea Geforce 8800GT. Here's a link to the WU

Did you try to restart the BOINC client or to reboot?

The link to the WU becomes interesting for us when the task is uploaded and reported, but you could check the stderr.txt file in the slot directory for significant error messages.

Ok... it's been uploaded and reported and should be interesting now :-). I have a more direct link to the results. I had tried suspending and resuming the WU before posting. Since then I have exited and restarted Boinc with more success. It does list the numerous restarts in the WU link. Thanks.

Not really, as it contains nothing interesting besides "Restarted at 13.04 percent" numerous times. (At least I didn't see any hints :-)

Fine that a restart helped.
