We live in a relative backwater of stars distant from other stars. I read today that one of the voyager space craft is the fastest projectile ever created by man. It is estimated at 11 miles every second. At its currant direction it will reach the nearest star to us at its rate of velocity in 73900 years! Ive forgotten the name of the star {Aplha Proximy ?]but at about 5 light years. We are fortunate to be away from the turburlant center of the milkyway. We are away from large explosive stars and pulsars and gamma ray jets of some stars and galaxies. Our search for life on some distant world will be from extream long range. Our chances of entering another star system might never happen but the idea is there. Distance is the greatest challange either detecting or communicating. I know people have said maybe we have been visited by other life but recently glycine found from a comet is a basic amino acid and needed for life found by the Genesis project. We cannot be all the intelligent life in the universe. But if we are, is that too profound to be realized.

Well...in my country, a lot of people believe that we are the only one intelligent life in this universe. Then I asked them, "What about this huge and expanding universe, it created just for us?" They said all kinds of phenomena in this universe, in fact as the support of life on Earth and our solar system only.
Then I said "God has discarded of energy just to create all of this."
