I want to stop the screensaver spinning but when I go into SETI@Home preferences -> change view I an see the oscillation settings but when I click edit I can't see them. Help!

On the SETI@home Your Account page (here on this webiste) Under preferences goto SETI@home preferences. Scroll to the bottom of that SETI@home preferences page to select the edit link. In here you simply need to change the graphics preferences drop down to Custom, and then edit all the oscillation settings to 0. You will need to wait for BOINC to talk to the server to have the settings updated locally, but it shouldn't take to long...

You have to select "Custom" for Graphics preferences and update. Then select Edit again... et voilà :-)
