All Italian ISP provider, except Tiscali, have started sending invoices every 4 weeks instead of a month, while maintaining the same price. This amounts to a 8.6% increase in prices, despite warning by Gov agencies which threatens them with fines, much smaller than their incomes. I have a contract with Sky TV on Internet and they also changed the invoice times, but reduced the price accordingly. Very fair.

Thanks. It was rather bumpy. I had planned to do research and had to do many other things. Now I am running BOINC projects and taking some internet courses on Higgs Boson, Gravitational waves and quantum computers, all by Future Learn, a subsidiary of the UK Open University. I collaborated with Open University while at Edizioni Scientifiche Mondadori in the Seventies, but there was no WWW. We had only books, audio cassettes, and some 16 mm films. Of course it failed in its purpose.
