Le Havre
1 Zdenek Stybar CZE
2 Peter Sagan SVK
3 Bryan Coquard FRA
Tony Martin falls and probably breaks his collar bone. Chris Froome will be first.

Race leader Tony Martin crashed in the last kilometer and crossed the line obviously injured and likely to pull out of the Tour de France. Daniel Teklehaimanot made history for Africa with taking the polka dot jersey.

Poveretti.

"We discovered this two hours ago. I have to stop," the former Giro d'Italia winner, 37, told a shocked news conference on Monday.
Basso was set to be one of Alberto Contador's key lieutenants in the mountains over the next two weeks.
He has complained of pain in his groin and the cancer was discovered in a check-up on the race's first rest day.
Tinkoff-Saxo team-mate Contador was in tears as he sat next to Basso during his announcement.

Chris Froome has now both the yellow and the polka-dot jersey after the stage 10.

Quote from le Tour:)
Chris Froome is as strong as a lion (nguwu kama samba in Swahili, the language he learnt in his native Kenya). He stormed to victory at La Pierre-Saint-Martin, the first summit of the Tour de France. Not only did he claim his fifth stage victory at the Tour de France but his lieutenant Richie Porte made the double for Team Sky, allowing the duo to start the second Pyrenean stage with the yellow and the polka dot jersey respectively. Froome has literally outclassed Nairo Quintana, Tejay van Garderen, Alberto Contador and Vincenzo Nibali.

Well many mountains to climb...

Nairo Quintana (Columbia) is the only competitor left. Yesterday he was the one who tried to stay with Chris Froome and was overtaken only on the finish line by Richie Porte, a member of the Froome team.

Astana hand the Tour de France leadership over to Jakob Fuglsang after Vincenzo Nibali falls further behind race leader Chris Froome

I think Fuglsang arrived behind Nibali today. The whole Astana team is not working. A few good cyclists like Vanotti and young champion Fabio Aru were not included in the Tour team. Vinokourov has taken wrong choices, and it not fair to accuse Nibali. In the Tourmalet climb today he was ahead of the main group with Froome. It was simply in the final, not difficult, climb that he fell behind. He had reached his limit, but others have also. Bravo Vincenzo!
