First mountain stage and Rohan Dennis dropped to 6th in the GC.
Chris Froome now 8th and Fabio Aru 10th.
But it's more than two weeks to Roma...

Speaking of cycling. WACE is news for me.
WACE (World Association of Cycling Events) is an association of cycling events formed to promote and increase cycling around the world.
The Association was formed in Rome on 24 July 2015, and the chartered members of the Association are six of the most prestigious and largest mass participation events in the world: Cycle Tour (Cape Town – South Africa), the biggest timed cycle event in the world, Vätternrundan (Motala – Sweden), 300 km and over 20,000 participants for one of the longest and oldest mass participation event in the world, Etape du Tour (France, a unique and incredible ride over a stage of the Tour de France), Five Boro Bike Tour (United States, 32,000 riders on closed roads in New York City), RideLondon (United Kingdom, the world’s largest cycling festival with more than 95,000 participants) and Gran Fondo Campagnolo Roma (Italy) a cycling experience in the Eternal City.
Gran Fondo Campagnolo Roma seems very nice.
Turn a wonderful dream into reality by setting out on your bike at dawn in the shadow of the Colosseum in the heart of the Eternal City. Ride through the breathtaking centre of Rome, and out into the beautiful landscape of the Castelli Romani hills, as you complete 120km and 2000 metres of climbing with closed roads through 2.700 years of the History of the world, before returning to a glorious finish on the Appian Way.
I have done Vätternrundan three times so it's about time to cycle in some mountains and on some cobblestones on Via Appia:)

Tomorrow I shall watch the Spain GP on my Sky Internet connection, which is free until the end of May. But Sky does not cover either skiing or bicycling and I am not going to pay them for seeing stupid football games. Now they are quarreling with Spanish firm Mediapro for the right to cover the Italian Campionato di Serie A.

Tomorrow Osimo - Imola. A very flat stage.
But they almost pass San Marino.
Why not include Monte Titano in Giro d'Italia?
A sort of Hors catégorie:)

Wait for Zoncolan, a very steep climb. If Yates survives it, the Giro will be his.

"Monte Zoncolan is regarded as the hardest climb in Europe: 10 km at an average 12% gradient, with peaks topping out at 22%."
Hmm... Amazing that anybody survive that.
That's for Saturday and no rest day on Sunday:)
