Yes. Marcel Hirscher is not from Norway.
But he and Mikaela Shiffren knows how to Slalom.
And perhaps also knows how to tango. :)

BtW Slalom is a Norwegian word.
The word "slalom" is from the Morgedal/Seljord dialect of Norwegian slalåm: "sla," meaning slightly inclining hillside, and "låm," meaning track after skis.
And don't forget Jegertroppen.
A new Special Forces unit and the world’s first all-female military training program.

Fog in St.Moritz. Mikaela Shriffin leads over Wendy Holdener (Switzerland) in the slalom run of the combined event. The SuperG run will be held tomorrow, weather permitting.

St.Moritz SuperG ladies
1 Jasmine Flury Switzerland
2 Michelle Gisin Switzerland
3 Tina Weirather Liechtenstein
4 Federica Brignone Italia
5 Anna Veith Austria
6 Viktoria Rebenburg Germany
7 Johanna Schnarf Italia
8 Tessa Worley France
Lara Gut falls with no apparent damage. Lindsey Vonn terminates the race but seems unable to rise after the end. She seems to be suffering and goes away in a car after saluting Flury. A problem in the lower spine?

Marcel Hirscher hit one gate and managed to ski with it's flag wrapped around his right arm :)

It is snowing in Val D'Isere over the men slalom, in Skt.Moritz over the ladies SuperG, not snowing in Davos over the 10 km cross conutry for ladies, so Italian TV is altering its scheduled transmissions.

La Repubblica paper says that the Sardinia Radiotelescope north of Cagliari with its 64 meters antenna with adaptive optics will join the SETI search, but does not say which SETI. Most papers when speaking of SETI refer to the SETI Institute, which has a much better media coverage than SETI@home. Eighty% of the observing time is dedicated to the Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica,20% to the Italian Space Agency. ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli has just returned to Earth today from the ISS. This was his second ISS mission.

The National Institute for Astrophysics – Astronomical Observatory of Cagliari does not say which SETI it is either.
Only that one (or more) beams can be dedicated for SETI targets.
Collaboration with UC Berkeley to make a porting in Sardinia of the SERENDIP 6, and in particular with David MacMahon
One ROACH2-GPU chain will be dedicated for piggy-back SETI, other ones can be available in basis of the running observation
While we prepare for future SETI data acquisition (whether in piggy-back or dedicated time), we will be learning how to perform the analysis of SETI data:
- Test SETI detection software on BL baseband data (from GBT)
- Test KLT method on BL data
