Same for Ferrari at Melbourne

2 Hamilton

Had a system crash and BOINC Manager is not working on my main Linux box. I had to manually start a client.

Alpine skiing season is over but the mountains still there...
Kilian Jornet has already run up and down both the Alps highest peak Mont Blanc and the spectacular Matterhorn in world record time.
The next target is the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest, to be defeated in under 30 hours.
However bad weather conditions during the final stage of the expedition last year have forced him to abandon the attempt to climb Everest via the north face.

Races against time are a folly in the mountains. You must climb slowly and feel like a part in a greater being. Nous sommes des parts d'une grand construction dont il faut plus de temps, plus de silence and plus de recul pour decouvrir l'assemblage. (A. de Saint Exupery, Pilote de guerre).

You got a point there.
Why hurry when you can enjoy the top of the world just by walking up there?
My experience gaining 500 meters in one day was that my knees was hurting really bad the morning after.
I couldn't walk down the stairs as usually but I managed to go backwards to get my breakfast.

I have problems in just walking, due to my spine and its osteoarthritis. I can bicycle, though. Just to raise my morale I received a Statement of participation from Diderot University in Paris in its Gravitation online course with a 98/100 score.

Don't speak of neck pain in the home of someone with osteoarthritis like me. Just to forgive my pains, I bought a robot lawn cutter for my garden and watched it run for an hour and a half and then go back to its docking station for a recharge of its Lithium-ion battery, which took one hour. It has evidently a microprocessor guiding it on a program written probably in Assembler language. It should start every day at noon. Cost 1400 euros, five years warranty and one year insurance against theft. It is a German product.

This is a tragedy that is difficult to imagine.
The Astana team supports the Michele family in this incredibly painful moment of sadness, writes his cycling team in a statement.

“This win is for Michele Scarponi. He was a good friend of mine,” Valverde said, fighting back the tears. “It hurts to think he’s gone, I’ll miss him. I’ll give all my prize money from this victory to his family. This win is also dedicated to him.”
Bravo Alejandro!

Yoann Offredo who earlier this month finished 14th at both the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix, said via Facebook that he was the victim of an assault with a blade and a baseball bat while he was out riding with two friends.
"Result: a fractured nose, a rib in a dirty state and bruises all over the body," he wrote. "But beyond physical wounds, I am especially shocked.
"I'm not angry, I'm just sad to find that this beautiful sport that I like, I do not want my kids to practice ... too dangerous.
"You leave for training in the morning, but you never know if you're going home."
"Just sad to note that in a country of human rights, the rights of cyclists are ignored."
