Yes, it may. Froome is evidently tired after rejecting attacks for three weeks. Quintana is the best climber and Nibali wants the podium.

I very much enjoy Valverde's performance this year.
That and that his surname is the same that I have:)
Maybe we will see a real race in Paris this year.

French police opened Sunday morning fire on a car that was about to crash into the barricades in close proximity to the site of the Tour de France finish in Paris. The cyclists arrive in the French capital in the evening.

Two persons have been sitting in the car. According to news agency AP, they have managed to run away and escape from the scene after police gunfire.

- This is a minor incident. It was not directed at the Tour de France, it is not terrorism, it's only about a refusal to obey and those we have many each day, said a police spokesman, according to Reuters

It's Alejandro Valverde's first time in the final top 3 of the Tour de France in eight participations at the age of 35. His best result so far was fourth last year.

Giro to Contador, Tour to Froome, Vuelta to whom? Place your bets. Mine is Fabio Aru.

I am not sure that Nibali shall take part in the Vuelta. The Astana team must resolve its internal problems. Valverde is certain.

Anyone seen any mountains in Beijing recently?
Beijing has been chosen to host the 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, beating the bid of Kazakhstan's Almaty.
The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, were estimated to have cost £31bn ($51bn), making it the most expensive Olympics in history.
