I nostri TV men dicono che le norvegesi sono arrabbiatissime per la figura di ieri e che domani nella staffetta 4x5 femminile andranno forte.

I see:) But it's only the Norwegian press and fans who blames their skiers.
Norway has already 12 medals. But it won't be 33:)

We have only 2 bronze medals. In the 50 km race our top man will be Giorgio di Centa, aged 42. He is the brother of the great Manuela di Centa.

Manuela di Centa:) I remember her. That was in the 90's I Think.
Dont worry. Italy will be on the podiums soon:)
The 50 km race is a big event to us. Many gold medals.
That Giorgio di Centa will do the same thing as in the 50 km race Olympic Games in Torino...

Yes:) They are oustanding.
Sweden fell on the third leg, lost 10 seconds and contact with Norway.

I saw it on Italian RAI TV, channel 58. Huge crowd!

Calle Halfvarsson Sweden was in relay final lap in third place. Then he got help to secure the silver medal by Petter Northug Norway who took the gold.
Cooperation almost like in cycling:)

The French are very happy with the bronze. Robin Duvillard got extra energy to go out on his lap simultaneously with Marcus Hellner, Sweden.
"It was amazing to go out simultaneously with Marcus. We will love Falun for a long time, I think," said Duvillard.

Huge crowd:) Eighth of March starts Vasaloppet. 16,000 participants.
90 km to race!

We have the Marcialonga in Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa (Dolomiti) at the end of January. It is run by 8000 people, many of them from Norway and Sweden. It is a 72 km race, but this year it was shortened to 42 km because of lack of snow.
I have seen it at Pozza di Fassa once.

Almost missed that:)
Norway again. I remember the Olympic Games in Grenoble 1968.
Then was Norway also outstanding. So we was lampooing them with a song.
"Norge, Norge är ett ruttet land" "La Norvegia, la Norvegia è un paese marcio"

Oggi farò Spaghetti Bolognese.
Svedese Paolo Roberto, un ex pugile e anche cuoco. Solo cibo italiano :)
Ha imparato da zie che vivono ancora in Italia.
