Luca Paolini del team Katusha vince la terza tappa a Marina di Ascea.Vince anche la maglia rosa a 36 anni. E' al suo primo Giro.

Il lanciatore Vega, costruito da un consorzio formato dalla ditta italiana Avio e dall'Agenzia Spaziale Italiana, e' stato lanciato questa mattina alle 4.06 ora italiana dalla base ESA di Kourou, nella Guyana francese. Vega puo' mettere in orbita bassa carichi fino a una tonnellata e mezza. Questa volta ha messo su tre orbite diverse il satellite Proba-V dell'ESA, destinato a monitorare la vegetazione nel mondo, un satellite costruito per il Vietnam dalla ditta Astrium, con scopi di osservazione dell'ambiente e controllo delle emergenze, e un piccolo satellite costruito dagli studenti dell'Universita' di Tartu in Estonia.
Le prossime missioni di Vega includono il lancio, nel 2015, di LISA-Pathfinder, un dispositivo destinato a sperimentare le funzioni dei tre satelliti previsti dal progetto LISA dell'ESA per il rilevamento di onde gravitazionali. Buon viaggio, Vega!

Adam Hansen (Australia-Lotto) vince arrivando da solo a Pescara sotto la pioggia. Bradley Wiggns e' caduto in discesa e ha perso quasi due minuti.Maglia rosa lo spagnolo Benat Intxhausti della Movistar, Vincenzo Nibali e' secondo a 5 secondi.

Alex Dowsett (Gran Bretagna-Movistar) vince a sorpresa la crono di 55 km con arrivo a Saltara. Secondo a 10 s Bradley Wiggins, UK-Sky, molto cauto in discesa dopo la caduta di ieri. Maglia rosa a Vincenzo Nibali-Astana.

A Firenze vince il russo Maxsim Belkov (Katusha) arrivando da solo. Vive a Prato, per cui conosce benissimo le strade della Toscana. Sempre maglia rosa Vincenzo Nibali. Domani riposo.

Rigoberto Uran (Colombia-Sky) vince la tappa di montagna ai Piani di Montasio. Nibali guadagna una trentina di secondi su Wiggins ed e' sempre Maglia Rosa. Attenzione a Cadel Evans, puo' essere il terzo incomodo fra Nibali e Wiggins.

Rmanuas Navardauskas (Garmin-Estonia) vince la salita del Vajoont (Erto). Nibali sempre maglia rosa.
Il Vajont e' tristemente famoso per la frana del 9 ottobre 1963 che genero' un' onda nel bacino della diga che distrusse totalmente Longarone e parzialmente Erto e Casso, con un totale di 1910 morti.

Una critica alla RAI: nelle trasmissioni del Giro mancano le mappe ed e' difficile seguire i percorsi delle tappe, specie quelle di montagna. Ieri ho dovuto consultare un atlante del Touring per localizzare la Sella Ciampigotto, di cui nessuno in Italia ha mai sentito parlare.

Mark Cavendish vince in volata a Treviso dopo una tappa sotto una pioggia battente. Nibali conserva la maglia rosa e Bradley Wiggins perde altri minuti, uscendo cosi' dai favoriti del Giro.

Giovanni Visconti (Movistar) vince sotto la neve sul Galibier, davanti al monumento a Pantani. La tappa e' stata accorciata di 4 km, ma e' passata sul Moncenisio innevato. Nibali sempre in maglia rosa. Domani riposo.

Il Campionato di Serie A e' finito con la vittoria della Juventus. Il Napoli e' secondo e partecipa anche lui alla Champions League. Il Milan e' terzo e dovra' qualificarsi per la Champions League. Torna in A il Verona (Hellas Verona) e vi arriva il Sassuolo per la prima volta. Un'altra squadra sara' scelta fra Empoli, Brescia, Novara e Livorno.
