Problem with downloaded BOINC update

I downloaded the BOINC update. Now I cannot find BOINC on my computer and therefore cannot monitor my SETI tasks. Previously there was an icon at the bottom of my screen but that is gone. I do not even know if SETI@Home is still running on my computer. What do I do now?

This is strange. I did another computer search and found it this time and when the screen came up the icon reappeared at the bottom of the screen. I do not understand what happened but at least the problem appears to be resolved.
