I looked on my Results and found something very strange. A WU my and others computer requested credit for, recieved 0 (zero) because one computer requested 0 (zero). So who has a computer that don't request credit???

Just a guess, but might these be WU's that were uploaded but not reported?

If one user for the WU had the "famous" uload error that been happening the last week, you get zero credits!

Check the result page and you'll see "Check stopped" and the user that had the upload error has an outcome of "Couldn't validate - missing file"

Not only does the use who had the error not get credit for not uloading, but the other users lost credit too!

I've seen this in a dozen WU with zero credit (not "pending" credit) for my machines......

If you click on the column on the left of the workunit number it gives another page of stats and it looks like all the units that have 0.00 issued credits have an entry that says "Validate state Check skipped" in it.
No idea what it means but that is why no credit was issued.

Yes, you may have a point there. My next question will then be: What does "Check skipped" means??? Again, it looks strange that all computers upload fine and one computer claims no credit. What went wrong???

It means, due the a single upload error, all crunchers for the WU get 0.0 credit. You did nothing wrong, but lost all credit due to another user's upload error (well, really, a seti/boinc upload error). I'm sure I've lost 100's of credits due to this... ;{

I have checked one of the ones where my upload failed (or something else went wrong), and there the others got credit and I didn't (of course). It still looks strange to me that my computer in my link (which is 127769 by the way) and 3 others went fine and still none of us gets credit. If you are right, the others where the error were from me, none should get credit either. See this link

It's not that I'm mad because of my missing credits, because I don't care. I simply don't understand the above. I don't get it!!!???

It's simple - the process is wackey and has been for some time... For a few days after the June 22 launch, results were visable, and the same thing came up..

Other projects that have allowed viewing results/pending have had long discussions about how credits work, vs how they were planned to work...

Yeah, maybe they shouldn't have turned this function on!!!! I myself have often been tired of all the discussion on this forum about not getting credits and when are we gonna get some :-(, so now I'm pouring gasoline on the fire myself ;-) Now we can have these mysteries to ponder on...
