Since 4.05 has come out, my Intel 3.0ghz HT computer has been taking 7 to 7.5 hours on each part of the processor to finish one work unit (2 work units done every 7+ hours). Before 4.05, it was taking 3.5 hours on each part of the processor (2 work units done every 3.5 hours).

My Intel P4 2.6ghz non-ht computer still processes a work unit in 5 hours.

Hard to believe the P4 2.6ghz has more computing power than the P4 3.0ghz HT (lmao).

It appears that the new 4.05 does not take advantage of the hyperthread properly. It is really slow.
