No, I don't think you're getting the idea.

They'd shutdown for a month and maybe leave us with no work to crunch for almost a month. They wouldn't necessarily give us a month worth of work first. But during that time they'd do useful work instead of constantly fighting fires, and the project as a whole will be better when it comes back.
