hi i tried to join Team Sci-Fi but they didn't seem to like me :-( so is there anyone who wants to have a pretty blonde cutie with blue eyes (okay, I'm fat, about 2 m tall and have a beard, but still)? i have to admit, the number of teams is quite overwhelming, so i will try to find a team this way. short infos: I'm new to seti@home, i'm an idiot with computers, i like Sci-Fi (books, series, movies) and other literature and cooking (also: eating). i would like to have some technical help perhaps and some fun. that's about all. so if anyone thinks to know a team for me, please feel free to point me in the right directions. thank you all |

I'd say its a matter of looking at the teams. Interested in a large group then look at Seti.Germany or seti.international smaller groups abound around here. Most are wholeheartedly welcoming. Most people like to join groups that are in their primary language or national origin. It's all a matter of what you want. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. i was busy last week so have not yet decided which team to join. @ Labbie: Thank you for your invitation, i will consider this. @ skildude: Thx for the advise. i am aware that this is not the usual way to find a team, but i thought i'd try it... @ champ und Sutaro Tsureku: Danke für die Einladung; wie gesagt, hab mir das noch nicht überlegt, war die ganze letzte Woche beschäftigt... |

I like to see people find a home. I also know that where I've found mine is not necessarily good for others. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |
