Since your computers are hidden, you have to tell us: the operating system the BOINC version are you using an account manager? |

I suppose you are speaking of this one. That answers my questions about OS and BOINC (XP and 6.4.5) but not about account manager (like BAM! or GridRepublic). What does the status column of BOINC manager's Projects tab show for SETI? |

Indeed, this one. Status says "No new tasks" A bit concerned as others will be waiting for result confirmation if I just zap BOINC! Cheers Harry Being ignorant is not your fault; staying ignorant is... |

Mmmm, that's strange indeed. Did you try a restart of the BOINC client already (not the manager alone) or, better yet, a reboot? If that doesn't help, if you detach from SETI before you uninstall BOINC, then your tasks will be marked aborted immediately and no one has to wait for the expiry date. OK, just to update... It's me being a complete fool...nothing wrong with BOINC. Never toggled the "No new tasks" button correctly! Sorry folks - good luck. I will be back on soon. Harry Being ignorant is not your fault; staying ignorant is... |
