No, Astropulse_v505 does more searches for signals, so it won't validate if you tried,
just wait until the optimised version becomes publically available.

There is 5.05 opt AP available for beta testing on Lunatics site.
If you are eligible Lunatics beta tester feel free to grab it and run on as many systems as possible.

The good news is that the default app V5.05 is about twice as fast as the previous app 5.03.

The bad news is that, because of the above, the bonus credits for using an optimised app will probably be smaller.

The worse news is that AP seems to be extinct right now.......

Holy CatPants Mark! We've had 5.05 for about two months. You know this since you were just visiting us at Lunatics...

Well 5.05 should be a little more accurate (mathematically) , and robust (programmatically). Let's hope the recorder thingamys get sorted so we can crunch some more.

Hmm, and how much faster is new Astropulse? Can I join my old dual PIII 1.13GHz FreeBSD PC to crunch them in time?

You are a "volunteer tester". They have been on Beta for quite a while. Try one there. The time savings are substancial.

So that AP crunchers have something to crunch is it possible to shift some work from Beta from to here just until there's some more clean AP Data for our CPUs to feast on?
