By the way, I am around, just really busy.

Also by the way, I'm from New York. I lost my Brooklyn accent long ago, and never say refer to people as "dude" or "man" unless I'm being ironic. I never surfed and never will.

But - the PC take ~ 250 W in idle status.. ;-)



Standby takes even less.


..at full load the PC take ~ 700 W.. ;-)


How could BOINC request new work in standby status? ;-)


You can't, but there are solutions to your complaints of idle power if you're complaining about it. They just might not be solutions you like, but there are always choices. ;-)
