So basically the Republicans want to be arrested and jailed. I don't recall running a coup as a legal option for any state legislature. Of course, this is New York. In texas, if there isn't 2/3 of the represenatives present the legilasture cannot conduct business. I assume NY has a similar rule. The Texas Reps left the state. thereby circumventing the Governor forcing the state police to collect them and force them back. Incidentally I recall in the Texas incident, Dick Cheney used the FBI to locate the individuals. Another abuse of Power on his part(but who's counting) since the reps had done nothing illegal and it wasn't a federal problem.
