In a few hours I will make it through the ten years anniversary, although I became really an active cruncher only for the last three years, since Oct.2007
Happy to be able to cooperate with such a great endeavour/quest.
Hope to be here for the next years to come, sharing the boards with you.

Missed my 10 year date last year - wasn't crunching at all. My account will be 11 in 3 months, woohoo!
My first Seti system was my Pentium 166. Later moved on to a Pentium 233 MMX, a Celeron 433, and a K6-3 450.
I don't run old boxes for any purpose any more since they're so horribly power inefficient. For the cost of running anything older than a Core Duo or Athlon 64 you could probably BUY a low-end Core 2 Duo box and start running it (just like my family bought a Mazda3 for the price of not driving our Dodge Dakota... yeesh.)

Well, my friends.....found the right thread.
As of yesterday the kitties have officially joined the ranks of the Ten Year Club.
68 million Seti kibblestones and counting.
It's been a bumpy road at times, and what we are working through now is no different I guess. But as long as the project has a WU left for me to do for them, I suspect I'll be here in another 10.
