You seem to have downloaded 4 tasks, the last one today (8 Jun 2009 7:58:58 UTC). If they show up in the Tasks tab in BOINC manager, all is fine. Just wait until they are finished, uploaded and reported.

As to your graphic issues, I don't quite get what you are saying, but you don't need the graphics to have the work done. In the contrary, the graphic process "steals" some cycles from the actual crunching.

Gruß,
Gundolf

what i ment by the graph is that when it shows me it working i have hundreds of verticle lines but on the demo pages it shows you they are like small tabs and shows you a pattern if you are to notice something however on mne that would be imposible to see as the lines are so thin

You are right, there are more than used to be. Maybe it depends on the type of Work Unit (WU) (angle range?). But anyway, I don't think that you would recognize ET from the graphics ;-)

From the description (please use punctuation, not a continuous sentence) it sounds like you have corruption. Probably a bad video card (or video chip if it's embedded on the motherboard).

Do other OpenGL screen savers or games run without this problem?
When you run dxdiag (Start->Run, type dxdiag, click OK), what does it say under the Display tab for your video card and its drivers?
