Got the client to start and stop spitting up a few errors, but regardless can't manage to get the server to assign my machine an id:

can't seem to get past this rpc bind error, any suggestions? I'm totally stuck at this point :P

Please add the option "-no_gui_rpc" to the BOINC client command line. This is a known bug at Solaris 10.
