can't attach to project

After installing BOINC and starting BOINC Manager it starts the wizard for attaching to a project. This doesn't seem to work and i don't know why. He keeps teeling me, that he can't connect to the internet. I cannot see any network activity of any boinc process (little snitch installed). So WTF? Can anyone help?

So much for asking to rejoin SETI@home. :(

OS is OSX 10.5.7

seti is having troubles right now with bandwidth and servers. Please be patient. it way take a few days to get everything back where it should be.

@Dena: thx... no there's no company firewall involved here, just the mac osx firewall (for incoming connectiosn, little snitch for outgoing and a router, but i checked the forums already to make sure no port forwarding stuff is needed to run BOINC)

While I have programmed for many years, I am not a SETI support person so take what I say with a grain of salt. Little Snitch has been mentioned in the past, but I don't use it so I don't know much about it. This Link may be of use to you.
