I have one BOINC account that has two computers each on a different project. Those two projects show up fine under that account.

I also have a separate account running BOINC (seti) on a third computer (command line only). I changed the email on this account to match that on the first account, expecting the CPID to change and show up on the first account.

That was a couple of weeks ago and the CPIDs are still different.

Is there something I should do manually (ie, by editing the XML files) or should I just wait?

I'm not allowed to mention the two CPIDs involved for some reason, but if you want to help me I can give you the details.

Thanks for your help.

For the CPID to unify you need to run at least one project in common on two computers.

example:
computer 1 - project A, B
computer 2 - project A, B, C
computer 3 - project C
etc.
For faster CPID unification it is best to run a common project on all the computers, at least until all is sync up.
example:
computer 1 - project A, B
computer 2 - project A, B
computer 3 - project A, C

You need to use the exact email address on all the project accounts. For Stat sites account unification use the same User name also.

Oooooooohhhh! (That's a really BIG Oooooooohh!)

That makes a lot of sense. It is the project that does the work, not a central BOINC coordinator.

Thank you so very very much. I'll get one of my first two computers working on seti and that will bring the third computer into the fold. Excellent!
