So after making the mistake of installing Boinc in Daemon/Service mode, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it in normal mode to no avail. Through the setup process I make sure the "Protected Application Execution" option is not selected (version 6.6.20 BTW)and yet it still installs in daemon/service mode :<

The system spec's are as follow's :
Phenom x4 2.6ghz
2 GeForce 9800GX2's (Main reason I want non service mode)
Vista 32bit ultimate.
(if you need more info please ask)

I have emptied the program files and program data folders of their Boinc data and yet it still installs into service mode. I have not cleaned the reqistry of any Boinc settings/entries)

Any thoughts/suggestion/halp!

Ths issue has been resolved however i would like to say this.

The uninstaller must be lacking something major as it dose not remove registry values.

After searching through the registry and deleting every boinc related entry, It finally allowed me to install in normal mode. This is not right and weather it be Vista or Boinc causing the problem, it must change.
