When I woke up this morning I went through my regular ritual of checking my stats and updating tasks. It reported 85 tasks complete to the server. BOINC froze for some reason when doing so. So I went and looked at the task list to ensure credit was given..

To my surprise, they were not reported... So I decided to take a closer look at the active tasks running in BOINC. It turned out that none of the tasks active on my computer were reported on the site as tasks assigned to me. Perhaps hastily, I detached from the project to "Reset" my stats... It is still showing the same tasks as before. None showing the normal "detached from project" status.

I'm guessing I probably shouldn't have detached, but I didn't like the idea of not getting credit for work being done on my computer.

Can anyone explain what's going on?

I don't think the problem is on your end. See this thread here.

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I'll remain detached until it shows up to date stats -- don't want to confuse the database anymore than it already is.
