Hi, For some time I have had a second name under setiathome. On the screen "Please log in" I go to the field "Email address:" and my own and another one show up. I don't want it there.
How did it happen? I'd like to get rid of it please.

That's a feature of your browser, not of BOINC or SETI.

So, you have to tell us, which browser you use. (I could tell you the procedure for Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, but I have the German version)

Also, are you saying the name was put in by a person here at this end? That could be, I'm not sure.

Yes, it was put in by someone at your end, and is completely local to that machine. Auto type remembers several entries for similar fields as suggestions.

The auto-complete feature of IE also remembers any addresses entered in by script if you've been hacked.

Okay, here the German version:
menu Extras (tools?): Internetoptionen (properties?)
tab Inhalte (contents?): button AutoVervollständigen (auto-complete?)
button Formulare löschen (delete template?)

Thank you. I got it to work after I selected Tools, Internet Options, Content and AutoComplete. It did not work when I chose Clear Passwords, but it did work when I chose Clear Forms.
