Dogs seem to be under represented on all the forums here. So, here is my senior citizen Bailey, at his day time post. He's keeping track of raccoons and bunnies on the front yard. Not that he'll do anything about them, he just likes to know.

Bees...ARGH, I'm like hella allergic (even the picture almost sends me running and screaming like a little girl! LOL). I swear if there's a bee within a 50 mile radius of me the sucker will find me and go in for the kill... (and whoever started the "if you just stand still a bee won't sting you!" fallacy well--I'm here to state they are just WRONG!!) Me too!!! Do you have to carry an epipen? ____________ ... Me too!!! Do you have to carry an epipen? Yeah, but I'm really bad about keeping it out of our vehicle on freezing winter days or boiling summer days and bringing it inside. I just know that the next time I go to use my current kit it will crumble to dust, or something. LOL I so need to get a new prescript... ____________ Team SETI.USA Forums Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known. ~~Carl Sagan

My fellow critter-lovers... I know we all love animals here, but in the current climate of hysteria I don't recommend this!

Yeah the poor piggys could get sick, As one Canadian farmer proved recently after returning from a trip.

Molly (ten year old photo to the left) just turned ten.

...she brought a friend into the house... Confused by your use of the word "friend". Was the coyote trying to eat her? Poor kitty!

Molly (ten year old photo to the left) just turned ten. I understand. It is in his nature and she wouldn't understand that. Sad fact but the telephone poles in my neighborhood are covered with pictures of lost small animals. Animal control doesn't have the budget any more and here is an animal control officer that lives on the block. Vector control won't do much about the plague carriers running on the telephone wires either. But you can call them about a dead crow because it might be West Nile. I'm just surprised I haven't heard about a move to ban pot bellied pets in California. And I can conform that deer like rosebush. [/ ramble mode off] ____________

...she brought a friend into the house... I believe that was the Coyote's idea, yes. Before we got Molly, we had Chantal, and she was so slender, and quick, and graceful, and smart, and Molly just isn't. Fortunately for her, the Coyote wasn't all that hungry, seeing that a suburban neighborhood is a very good environment for Coyotes -- between garbage cans, pet food, and pets. Animal Control says "well, the Coyote is under pressure from encroaching man" and I'm sorry, but this Coyote was clearly very well fed, and healthy, and not feeling any pressure at all. They won't do anything about Coyotes until they start stalking people. ____________

Raccoons are supposed to eat snails, but you'd never know it from the tons of snails I have in my backyard!
