I have only seen this error occur on two boxes that both have vista. One is 32 bit the other is 64 bit. One does not process cuda one is (Just installed on new laptop). -searcher |

I've had this same error a few times, but was never able to associate it with a WU as I don't check my boxes all that often. I think I might have caught one today, though, and I recall a discussion about this error (in the WU) from Raistmer's app. (I use V10 (NOT the team app)Here's the output from the WU stderr file: Exception detected inside cudaAcc_find_triplets, dumping client state icfft=93049, PoT_activity=0, PoT_freq_bin=-1SETI@home error -12 Unknown error cudaAcc_find_triplets erroneously found a triplet twice in find_triplets_kernel File: ..\analyzePoT.cpp Line: 348 This causes the vid driver(s) to crash and reset, in addition to dumping the WU as a computation error. Perhaps one of the devs could provide a better explanation, but I don't think this is a Vista issue. |

The driver error and recovery occurs generally on work units with low angle ranges. |
