Ireland's largest news & media technology website is SiliconRepublic.com, good article about the SETI@home 10th anniversary. 30th April 2009 - By Marie Boran; A decade in the hunt for Alien life; http://www.siliconrepublic.com/news/article/12858/randd/a-decade-of-helping-in-the-hunt-for-alien-life 30th April 2009 - By Marie Boran; The also duplicated the article on their international website GadgetRepublic.com; http://www.gadgetrepublic.com/news/item/584/digital-life/a-decade-of-helping-in-the-hunt-for-alien-life/ I submitted the articles to the editor. The writer was Marie Boran of SiliconRepublic.com I suggest that if anyone else has the time, they should start contacting news and media websites and let them know about the SETI@home 10th anniversary. Help spread the word guys! John. |

If only the Near Time Persistency Checker (NTPCKR) was operational for a while before the anniversary, or we took a look at the returned work units like we did in 2004, we might be able to report some interesting possible signals. Congratulations SETI. Keep up the search and we will too. |
