What's about all the top # 20 teams?

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/top_teams.php

I guess not all teams are around here in the NC forum.
So the initiator of the race must go in their 'home-forums'.. ;-)

O.K. - we all which are interested could help you.. :-)
Maybe some have IDs [accounts] in 'foreign' team forums for to post there?

OTOH..
I guess L'Alliance Francophone is not interested of a Race..
Because they made a '2 week crunching' for SETI@home.

AFAIK - SETI.Germany will make a 'short crunching' from May 17. to May 27. .

So I guess, this both teams wouldn't have interest of a Race..

Looks like all the major teams are not interested or already pre-occupied with another push activity.

Is it possible to form a temporary team, e.g. Anniversary Team that people can take a sabbatical from their regular team (who are not in the gauntlet), for the fixed period to try to get it up at least in RAC?

No bad idea.
It would be nice to have a few top crunchers in that team.
But have to ask the stats guy about the time limit.
He is on the pre workarount for the stats now.

BTW i dont understand the point of Seti.germany and others are in a other competition.
It wouldn´t be different.
Just two races.

It would be nice if a member or admin of L'Alliance Francophone and SETI.Germany would give a note if or if not they want to be a participant of the 10th birthday Race.

..I'm no longer a member of SETI.Germany..
I couldn't and I can't speak for this team..

[EDIT: @ Mr. Hankey]

AFAIK, earliest at May 17.
..so you can prepare [extend, OC, or others] your rigs to the start.. ;-)

BTW.
But SETI.USA don't want to be a participant of the Race.
You need to join an other team for the Race.
Mike made an update in this thread, which teams would like to participant.
I think, before the Race Mike will make an 'final report'.

EDIT:
O.K., Mike was faster..
I need always soo much time for writing.. ;-D

Ahh.. O.K. ..

But two members said different statements here in this thread.
And the last was: 'no thanks'

Please could you give an update which teams are at the start?

May I participate as a member of team "Russia"?
I don´t want it to be only a basically US-only contest.
The heaviest crunchers are in the US!!

If you join team russia and the team join the race no problem.
I just need the OK.

That´s fine.
But I need to know in detail the procedures in order to explain the team administrator what the contest is about.
Basically what kind of information is requested and how this information is or should be provided.
Should the team admin or any team members pay attention to special issues to make the contest succeed?
I thought that the basic and most important data/information can be obtained through the boincstats/allprojectstats pages which reflect accurate data refreshed every day.

There is nothing special your team has to do Dirk.
Just crunch away.
I will publish the stats.
You can copy it to your team board or give me a link then i will.

If you like to be a participant of the Race but your team isn't participant (or you are not in a team) you can join for the Race a(n other) team.
Later you can go there wherever you were.. ;-)

You will always have your own credits.

In the time you joined a team, a 2nd counter (of the team) is counting also.. :-)

Feel free to choose a team.
