How would I know I'm acutally using cuda with my GTX 260? I don't want to be using my cpu at all(quad core Q6600) Since using cuda means significantly more work done, that's what I would like happen(I have been using distributed.net's cuda client and it kicks :P )

Not using the CPU at all isn't possible. Part of the CPU will always be used to move data from the disk to the videocard and back. It'll show in BOINC Manager->Advanced view->Tasks tab as (0.0x CPU, 1 CUDA) in the status column of the tasks. You'll also see it'll run with the 6.08 Seti application (if not using a modified file).
