Dates are in GMT+1

17-04-2009 19:41 my stats-script detected a new export
18-04-2009 00:15 my stats-script detected another new export

But as far as I can see, both exports containe exactly the same data!

The update routine is triggered by a newer "<update_time>1240006528</update_time>" in tables.xml

Has this to do with the SQL-problems earlier, is it a "bo bo".. or have I done something wrong?

Triggering from the Update Time is what you are supposed to do. Unless there is a bug in your code that detects identical numbers as worthy of update, you have not done anything wrong.

As to exactly why the update times might have changed, I really don't know. It might be related to the DB problems, you might have caught it in the middle of an update (the timestamp cannot be written exactly at the same time as the data, but it will be close), it might be caused by something else.

As you can see by the dates / times there is a 4.5 hour difference. My script checks every 30 minutes.. (and offcourse does only an update at greater then..)

The strange thing is, that my "history-updater" refused an update, so I could (partly, because I thought Hey another update.. ) check the values of the first update and check them with the second.. and they do really look the same!

This new stats-system has been running for months now.. and this is the first time it/I detected this strange thing.. so I thought it was worth mentioning ;)

[edit]
The "update times" I mentioned are the "<update_time>....</update_time>" times in GMT+1 notation... (I red my post again, and I didn't put that very clearly..)

Same thing with the last export, I have made another check, that:

<total_credit>45481396218.213196</total_credit>

must be at least 10 credits larger then the previous update (in tables.xml).

It looks like the export script is running periodically, but the exported data is obtained from a "frozen" database/table.
