interesting article/blog. Not that I doubt the article/blog but their only sources are "in-house" quotes. This makes me wonder about the validity of the info.
/edit a quick google search of "obama" and "wiretapping" showed only preelection discussion and another blog site.

Keep posting articles like this ML

I fear the Obama administration isn't going to yield this powerful weapon without some level of indication from the people that they aren't going to tolerate these invasions into their privacy.

Until there are mass demonstrations against these intrusions, the public will be thought of as compliant and willing to surrender their rights.

please note that the "news" article presented is an opinion piece. Being that opinions are not facts(unless you are a fox news watcher) this articles is baseless on its face.

Obama Joins Fellow Senators in Passing New Wiretapping Measure

july 2008... let me check when election day was. Hmmm Obama wasnt president in july of 2008. He was a senator that voted to pass a bill. As I recall the bill was intended to clarify what wiretapping was legal and illegal. BTW Bush ignored the law and continued to monitor and listen in on non intelligence gathering telephone calls.
