Hi

When I upgraded hardware & Linux version last year, the new system name registered with Boinc somehow had the domain name left off. As a result I have 2 systems - system.domain (old) & system (new). Is there any way to combine the credit of the two? Alternatively, can I change the registered name and combine the credit this way?

Yes, you can combine them, but it's tricky.

Easiest thing to do in your situation:
Old sys: system.domain
New sys: system.

1. Stop BOINC
2. Change the name of your computer to: system.domain
3. Restart BOINC & contact projects (click Update)
4. Merge computers on website

Let me know if you need specifics.
