I am using 6.2.19 with the optimized version for both MBs and APs, should I upgrade to the latest version 6.6.20? I do not have CUDA and should I changed my optimized version? You could benefit from bug fixes that were incorporated in 6.6.20, So Yeah I'd do It as 6.6.20 isn't just for Cuda. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I installed 6.2.20 over 6.2.19 an hour ago and it was an absolute breeze. I don't have a graphics card; i didn't even suspend SETI@home before installing it and the process only took twelve minutes from start to finish! ... keep telescopic listening devices aimed at the Zenith of the Horizon |

I installed 6.2.20 over 6.2.19 an hour ago and it was an absolute breeze. Similar here, no CUDA capable card. But i always exit a programme before updating. Took about 3-4 minutes to install over the existing installation. Grant Darwin NT |

I upgraded all 3 of my machines to 6.6.20, it went without a hitch. Ditto. Didn't even need to stop BOINC. Seemless upgrade from 6.4.x to 6.6.20. "Life is a tragedy for those who feel, and a comedy for those who think." "I never get into an argument that I cannot win." |

Yes, sounds about right. I am running Seti@home on CUDA and rosetta@home on CPUs, have not seen any bugs since I upgraded from 6.6.19 |

I'm on 6.2.19 (non-CUDA machine, only crunching SETI). From what I've seen in the threads, for this situation the upgrade appears clean. Only when dealing with CUDA and/or multiple projects does there seem to be some issues. Does this sound about right? I never had a prob even with cuda |

I have upgrade to 6.6.20 everything is working. Can I change my app-info file so that I can do the latest enhanced version, which I think is 6.08 using 6.03 or is 6.08 only for Cuda work? Well I would. Actually all my farm has been running 6.6.20 for a while now. Works fine for cuda and non-cuda machines. Multi beam 6.03 is the cpu version and 6.08 is the gpu version. BOINC blog |

Thanks for this, whilst checking my old version it was using 6.05 and I was informed that this was the wrong one and only should use 6.03. So I changed to only use 6.03, so what is the correct version for non Cuda MBs |
