For a few weeks now, periodically, BOINC manager requests to download the astropulse app. the download fails, and boinc manager then says it will retry in x hours. during this time, network communication is stopped and SETI will not ask for any new tasks. If i abort the download of the astropulse app, boinc manager will then get new tasks. I have set in my SETI@home prefs to not use Astropulse, and to not accept work from astropulse if no MB work is available. How can I stop BOINC from trying to download Astropulse? If it helps, I have an iMac C2D running 10.4.11 - Here |

Best bet would be to install a version so that it will find it. http://lunatics.kwsn.net/index.php?module=Downloads;sa=download;id=176;mirror=1 You might have a reference to it somewhere in your app_info and not know it. |

Thanks, I didn't think of that. Hopefully that will fix the problem. |
