For some reason I couldn't open the website. I tried cutting and pasting the url direct but get an error message.

. . . so, NOW - we have something to 'virtually' check out the 'ERROR 1714' that has occurred @ Berkeley for many years:



The Cornell computer program uses a technique called genetic programming that starts with random guesses

at a solution

and then employs an evolution-inspired algorithm

to shuffle and change pieces of the equations

until it finds a solution that works . . .
